My goal was to promote safe practices. Because of the contentious nature of the content, I focused on sticking to CDC guidelines and placed the content within a story to make the information easier to listen to and learn from. Overall, this training was well received. Team members wanted to share the content with their families as well.</image:caption>

To make the training engaging, I created a narrative story around the learning content to make the course both entertaining and informative. I chose a recognizable character from the popular TV series Breaking Bad as a way to connect with learners. The reception to this training was great. The MarComm VP wanted it to look similar to the redesigned newsletter I’d delivered in the fall of 2020. Here on this page is the initial mockup I designed in XD. With the Wild Apricot system, it ended up looking a little different from the mockup. The organization was very pleased with the update.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Because of how well learners have received previous story-based eLearning content, I developed an annual training on Fair Lending for 2022 based off the classic story A Christmas Carol. Learners follow the story of Loan Officer Richard Scrooge who is about to commit a fair lending violation. Past customers come back to haunt him in his sleep and remind them of his past wrongdoings. Because this is an annual training, the course assumes a certain level of knowledge regarding the fair lending laws. The course was authored in Articulate Storyline. Animations were made through Vyond. Additional graphics were made in Adobe Illustrator.</image:caption>
